This was announced at a briefing in the AOC by the head of the information service of the Uzagroinspection, Khalida Shodieva.

In particular, control is being established over the seasonal preparation of agricultural machinery involved in spring field work, and appropriate practical assistance is being provided on the ground for the high-quality organization of repair work.

In total, more than 136 thousand units of agricultural machinery are planned to take part in this year's spring field work across the country.

More than 57,000 units, or 42% of the equipment participating in the season, are modern high—performance agricultural machines purchased over the past 5 years.

Centralized repair of equipment was organized in the regions and the necessary logistical support was provided for settlements, including: a blacksmith shop, a welding machine, a lathe, etc.

As a result of providing hot meals and other conditions to the workers involved in the repair work, the repair of equipment participating in the season this year was completed 15-20 days earlier than last year. Only vehicles that are in good condition during the season are monitored for participation in the inspection.

1 million. 169 thousand 775 hectares of irrigated areas were sown with grain crops, of which 1 million areas. 131,000 hectares or 93% are in the budding stage, and 38,000 hectares or 6% are developing in the 3-4 leaf phase.

Irrigation works were carried out twice on grain fields.

In order for grain in the regions to arrive in the village in bulk, grain fields in the autumn months were fed with nitrogenous mineral fertilizers at the rate of 100-150 kg per hectare (in physical terms), and today grain is fertilized with nitrogen fertilizers in the regions. The 1st spring feeding has been started.

At the moment, 81 thousand hectares or 7 percent of grain fields have been fertilized in the republic.

Today, 3 tons of local fertilizers per hectare have been installed on grain fields, and in February, 413,660 tons or 12 percent of local fertilizers have been released to grain fields so far.

During the season, industry specialists carried out 108 preventive measures and 189 inspections for the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures for grain care.

During these events, 228 shortcomings were identified, 73 warnings were issued, 145 written instructions were issued, and 61 ideas were given about eliminating shortcomings.

This year, a number of activities have been carried out to prepare seeds for planting cotton.

In particular, in our country, the cleaning and sorting of seeds, depilation and treatment of crops from diseases and pests are in full swing. The implementation of these measures in accordance with the requirements of the state standard was fully monitored by inspectors of the regional departments of the Agricultural Inspectorate and district departments.

In particular, it is planned to sow 1 million hectares of cotton varieties for the 2024 harvest in the republic, and 50 thousand tons of seeds are needed for planting.

It is planned to plant 22 early-ripening, 3 medium-ripening, 4 fine-fiber and 24 promising and new varieties of cotton suitable for climatic conditions.

All necessary measures have also been taken for the full-fledged operation of 46 seed-growing workshops in the republic.

A sufficient number of packages and labels have been created for packaging seeds and chemicals.

Since the beginning of the season, 45.5 thousand tons or 81.3 percent of seeds have been cleaned and sorted in comparison with the plan, and these works continue.

In addition, during the season, employees of the regional department and the district department conducted 188 control measures and issued warnings on the identified shortcomings.
